There are several pre-defined routes available via the “Route Tree” menu:
but you’re not limited to just the routes in this list. You can easily save a route you’ve drawn as a custom route and have it appear in the “My Routes” menu just like the routes in the Route Tree.
Defining a Custom Route
To define your own custom route first draw a route that you want to save – as an example I’ll use an out and up:
Then trigger the action menu of any waypoint along the route and choose “Save” from the “Route” menu:
A popup will appear asking you to name the route and whether you want to make the route available to all players or restrict who can use it by where they are in relation to the center of the field:
For this example I’ll set the Placement Restriction to “Right of Center” as the “out” portion of this route is only an out for players lined up to the right of the center of the field:
This custom route we’ve defined will now appear in the “Route > My Routes” menu for the appropriate players. Because we restricted this route to players to the right of the center of the field it will appear in the “My Routes” menu for this player to the right of the Center:
but it won’t be available for this player to the left of the Center:
You can also see that this route is not available for a player who starts the play to the left of the Center:
but, if he goes in motion, it is available as soon as he passes the center of the field:
