The action menu is the primary tool you use to create plays or formations. It’s how you give instructions to the editor about what you want your players to look like (shape, color, and label) and what you want them to do as the play progresses.
To trigger the action menu right-click on field inside the play/formation designer editor. If you click on the field itself you’ll see an action menu for the field and if you click on a player or on a waypoint you’ll see an action menu with actions appropriate for that player or waypoint based on where it is on the field, what actions have already been assigned to its script, and who has the ball and where the player with the ball is on the field.
When designing plays with Playbook Wizard you’re not drawing lines on the field representing imaginary routes or passes you’re telling the play designer what you want to happen using action menus for the players involved in the play. You choose actions from the action menu of the appropriate players and the play designer takes care of drawing (and animating) the play based on those actions.
So, you don’t draw a line on the play designer representing a pass you right-click on the player you want to receive the pass and choose “Receive Pass” from their action menu:
the play designer then takes care of adjusting the actions of the player with the ball and the receiver to make that action happen:
To remove the pass you don’t delete the pass line you choose “Remove” from the player’s “Receive Pass” script item:
All play design goes through the action menu – when in doubt just right-click!
